A couple of weeks ago John Deeben wrote a post about the Federation of Genealogical Society’s (FGS) efforts to digitize the War of 1812 Pension and Bounty Land Warrant Applications in partnership with the National Archives and Fold3.com.
FGS is raising money to support this effort to digitize over 7 million documents and you can help. All funds raised help to digitize the files. The digital files will be available for research on the National Archives’ web site in the Archival Research Catalog and on Fold3.com.
