Join Us May 19th for an Archives Wiki Planning Meeting

We’re launching a public wiki pilot project that will allow researchers, historians, archivists, and citizen archivists to create pages on records or themes. We need your ideas and enthusiasm to make the wiki a success.  Please join us for the second planning meeting at the National Archives in College Park, Maryland, on Wednesday, May 19th from 1-2 PM in lecture room E.

Our agenda will include

Welcome and overview of the pilot project
Introductions
Demonstrations of Wikispaces and some similar archives-related wikis
Sharing ideas for possible pages and stub people would like to create

If you aren’t able to join us in person, please email us at socialmedia@nara.gov and we will send you the information to call into the meeting.  Minutes from the planning meetings and other information about the Archives wiki are available on our planning wiki.
