Centrally located in the Midwest, NPRC’s repositories consists of military and civilian personnel files of individuals from all 50 States and the U.S. Territories. The massive collection also includes the records of foreign persons who were employed by the U.S. government on projects abroad. The National Personnel Records Center and National Archives at St. Louis are part of a nationwide network of NARA’s 44 Federal facilities of regional archives, Federal records centers, Presidential libraries, and its Washington, D.C. and College Park, MD, offices.
