Remembering 9/11: Photos from the George W. Bush Presidential Library Now Available on Flickr

This Sunday will mark the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.  As we remember the events of that day, the George W. Bush Presidential Library has posted more than 150 photos from their collection on Flickr.  The photos from September and October 2001 offer a glimpse into the world of President Bush during the weeks immediately following the 9/11 attacks.

The George W. Bush Presidential Library, temporarily located in Lewisville, TX, will open their permanent facility in Dallas, TX in 2013.

  1. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing on that eventful day. How fearful it was not knowing what the cause was, who was responsible for these acts, and why was it done. Even today I shudder when I think of those moments. I am so proud of President Bush for taking charge of this tragedy the way he did and to the policemen, firemen, and members of the general public who risked their lives to save innocent victims of this act of terrorism. We have bounced back, but we should be ever vigilant that this never happens again. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
