Zoom into Online Public Access

We are excited to announce new features that have been rolled out into our Online Public Access catalog!

If you haven’t already tried our new search interface, now is a great time to test our some of the new features.   Online Public Access (OPA) now includes a Bookmark/Share widget to share your search results through email and your favorite social media tools.  You can also zoom and pan online holdings, which is particularly exciting for viewing handwritten documents or high resolution images.  Check out this example of a 1930 Census schedule, and zoom in for a closer look!

New features will continue to roll out this year giving you added functionality, including user registration and social tagging, so be sure to check it out and let us know what you think!  Send your comments and feedback to search@nara.gov
