  1. have you given any thought to setting these researchers meetings up with a webinar – perhaps partnering with Legacy Family Tree or Geneabloggers or DearMyrtle? It would be great for those of us at a distance to listen in. Thanks

  2. Sally, these researcher meetings give our DC-area staff and researchers a chance to talk about issues, plans, and other updates affecting researchers. You are welcome to join us and check it out. Minutes from past meetings are on our website at http://www.archives.gov/dc-metro/researcher-users-group/.

Tessa, this is good idea. We will look into it and keep you posted here on NARAtions if the meeting will be available via webinar.

    Thanks!

  3. The National Archives of the U.K. is creating a new user advisory committee. I know NARA has thought of a similar committee, but I am not sure who was going to be invited to be involved. You can see the U.K. announcement at http://ht.ly/4M95A
